"Sharing the places which made you fall in love with nature"

Astounding experience of Nainital- The Lake City of India by one of our team member Shavez.

Last year in the month of July I had planned to visit Nainital almost spontaneously and trust me, it was the best decision I have ever made. It was exactly the kind of place I needed to be at.

Nainital is a must visit place for every nature lover. It was so nice to imbibe the beauty of Naini Lake and witness the clouds take over as you boat.

It was the first time I saw snow and thus the view of the snow clad Himalayan point was eccentric.

I decided to camp at 'Wildroots' camp at Padampuri near Nainital which had a waterfall with a splendid view.

I also got a chance to participate in Zipline for the first time and it was really fun.

I also visited Bhimtal and Sattal.

Kayaking at Bhimtal was really fun.

It's one of a kind experience to have a stroll at the Tibetan market during the evening, seeing people from all around the country buying different stuffs.

Overall, it was a heavenly experience to be at Nainital and my heart really longs to be there again!

Nostalgia of being a wanderlust by one of our team member Ritika.

In the past two years of my college life, I have experienced two major outstation trips to Uttrakhand, one was to Kanatal and the other was Chopta. Talking about either of them, the only thing that strikes to my mind is the realization of the worth of this life, consoling of nature's lap, the beauty of the mother-earth, and undoubtedly "a person who used to breathe the air containing pollutants" and suddenly get pure oxygen to breathe !!

During nights, I saw the sky full of stars twinkling and constellations embedded in the dark blanket and making the horizon seem invisible. I also saw snowfall for the first time in Chopta.

Both trips were full of adventures, thrilling, daunting, and mesmerizing at the same time. Activities that I have experienced were: Ziplining, Crossing Burma bridge, Banana ride at Tehri lake, trekking to Surkanda Devi, Tunganath temple (world's highest Shiva's temple), Deoriatal lake.

Another reason which makes it more memorable and amazing was traveling with friends. I got scared, faced difficulties but still had an awesome experience while confronting these activities.

I learned new things about my surroundings along with myself and felt the connection between "nature and me".

"If you want to witness heaven there is no need to die, it is there in your surroundings, just look after it and it will never let you down!" At last, I must say a big thanks to the Escapade- the adventure club for adding these precious days to the journey of my life. Thank you :)

Awestruck experience of Wonderla Amusement Park by one of our team member Shubham.

I did my schooling in Kerala and one of the most memorable trips was visiting Wonderla in Kochi (Kerala). This happened in class 8th and I along with my fellow mates were very excited.

Since all the arrangements to reach the destination were preplanned by our school staff, we just took some essentials including a pair of clothes and snacks. Our two-hour journey by bus was accompanied by games and music. Wonderla is a very popular land and water amusement park which spreads across 35 acres of land with almost 54 rides.

Then as per the instructions, we were allotted two hours for land rides. So we quickly formed groups and explored the scary Balarama caves, followed by the thrilling Equinox 360, Dashing cars, Sky wheels, and many more. We enjoyed every second to the full extent. We returned to the place told by our teachers for lunch where we were served with delicious masala dosa and idli sambhar. Now it was time for the water rides for which everyone was waiting eagerly. We were allotted three hours for water rides. I started with Curvy Rapid Rivers to vibe with water rides. Next was the Wave pool, Snake slides, Boomerang, Wonder Splash, and Vertical fall. These rides gave us some exhilarating moments to cherish. Guards present near each ride ensured we took proper precautions and informed us about the First aid care centers. Then we enjoyed the Rain dance followed by Wave Water Splash whose height of waves was high enough to splash us away. Due to a shortage of time, we were told to change for returning to school. Before leaving we had a good snack session organized by Wonderla staff. We all were sickly tired, but the trip was amazing and pleasing at the same time. I would genuinely request everyone to visit this funfair park for amazing attractions recreation.

Insight experience of Book Fair 2020 by one of our team member Vandana.

I went to the World Book Fair at Pragati Maidan on 12th January 2020 for the first time with my friends. It was the last day and as it was a Sunday there was an expected huge crowd.

The Theme for this year was centered around Mahatma Gandhi to celebrate his 150th birth anniversary and was named ‘Gandhi The Writers’. There were a lot of things to explore. The entire fair is divided into 14 halls, with each hall containing books related to different topics. It was a great experience.

While returning, at the Nehru place we need to change the bus for home. The bus was going another route & we didn't notice. After crossing one station we realized that it was the wrong path and we got down. I asked a street vendor if there was any nearby bus station and he told us some directions to follow which took 20 mins. As the bus was late, we thought of visiting the Kalka Ji Temple. After that hustle-bustle of Book Fair, it was quite peaceful. We reached home at 7:30 pm and it was a great experience. I realized that before a visit to some place, research of that place is required.

Dreamy place experience by one of our team member Ayush.

I visited Dehradun to give exams and also enjoyed the beauty of the mountains in Mussoorie. I covered four places during my trip like Mussorie Park, George peak, Buddha peak, and the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. All the places were of great adventure and a bit scary as well. I traveled there by Royal Enfield. Visiting LBSNAA is the dream of many students.

The Buddha peak was a steep trek and one of the highest peak in Mussoorie. In Mussoorie Park, I saw every type of flower and an artificial waterfall. There was a microscope with which I saw many hilly places and clicked lots of photographs. After returning from there, I saw the area of LBSNAA starting from hostels to its main gate library, though I couldn't see the inside portion. During the time, I had Maggi which was cheery on the cake. Then we returned home with memories and pleasure.

Experience of visiting in pandemic by one of our team member Jyoti.

I went along with my cousins to a temple located in a small village Ranagiri. Shital Das temple is very famous among the surroundings as it has an exotic history between Lord Parshuram and Shitaldas. They argued that after which person the temple will be named. Because of the victory of Shitaldas, the temple was built in the name of Shitaldas on a flat surface and a statue was constructed in the name of Lord Parshuram which is situated in the hills. The temple is surrounded by greenery and looks ravishing but the hills seem to be dangerous. When we reached there we were amazed by the beauty of nature as it was peaceful and relaxing. It was a very hard time for all of us, the past seven months due to covid-19, and visiting this place gave us solace.

Experience of visiting Goa shared by our fellow mate Aashish.

How many of you have visited Goa? If you haven’t then you should visit this gorgeous and beautiful place. Who doesn’t love watching sunsets and sunrise and watching this with a view of beach and seeing the water plus sun plus sand in front of you, walking in the sand barefooted feeling the smoothness of it, playing with the water throwing it on your friend’s faces who aren’t going to love that.

Here is the story of my trip with my friends to Goa.

Our trip was of four days and five nights. The first day we woke up in the morning we went to Aguada Fort in Goa and trust me watching the beach from that height is so marvelous and pretty. Then we went to see a different beach popularly known by Calanguete Beach and then at night we went to the LPK Club which was so much fun and partying there was too good we danced to the DJ so madly and it was fab. Then at 4 AM instead of going back to the guest house we went to Baga Beach which was not that far away from where we were staying  and that on point decision was one of the best decision we took because that peaceful sound of water in our ears was more than just amazing, sitting there doing nothing was so soothing watching those shines in the sea was terrific.

The next day we went to different beaches namely  Vagator and Arambol where we walked, ate and did a lot of things going somewhere or even anywhere with these people of mine is always fun.

Then the next day we went for water sports in Malvan Beach which is in Maharashtra where we did activities like Scuba Diving, Para Sailing, Banana Rides etc. Scuba Diving and Parasailing  were our one of the best experiences there. So, overall it was amazing, adventurous and affordable. Then we got tired and went back to the guest house.

The last day we visited church which was very soothing and peaceful. So this was just a boring article about the trip but the trip was so much fun which cannot be described in words.

So in the end I just wanna say, “Don’t listen to what they say, go see it yourself. ”
